Preceding that Shirley held a variety of leadership positions with Fujitsu across geographies including the UK, Caribbean, and the Americas. Shirley Strachan is a passionate leader, a raving fan of technology, sales, business development, and strategy, who has also relished the opportunity to experience a multitude of cultures having lived and worked in numerous geographies during her career.

Dr. Rashmi Misra heads Artificial Intelligence Business Development, for Microsoft.

Working closely with ecosystem partners, customers and product teams Rashmi is responsible for proving forefront solutions and partnerships combining AI, mixed reality and Edge as well as other emergent technologies at Microsoft.

Rashmi has been at the forefront of intelligent systems for over 20 years, managing network applications, cloud, media, IoT and M2M businesses for HPE where most recently she was the Head of AI Solutions for High Performance Compute solutions.

Rashmi previously led Motorola's worldwide System Integration portfolio and was instrumental in deploying some of the first expert and AI systems mobile networks. She owns six international patents for intelligent optimisation, automated network health and monetisation of traffic on telecom networks.

Rashmi has a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence on Multi-Agent Reasoning Systems, from Exeter University, UK and an MBA from Warwick University, UK.

Noam King is the WW Internet of Things Device Experience Sales Strategy lead. In his role, Noam is constructing & leading the strategy for IoT, Azure Sphere & Mixed Reality partners to help transforming their businesses and drive scale. Noam has more than 25 year experience in the tech industry, he was a CTO in a couple of gold Microsoft partners, and in Microsoft was leading the business of the Azure cloud platform in EMEA in it's early days, and then of Artificial Intelligence & IoT. In the last 3.5 years, Noam was leading the IoT sales strategy of both our customer & partner motions in Microsoft HQ

Horace Chow is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Microsoft China where he is responsible for driving business performance for Microsoft’s Sales, Marketing and Operations organization across China. Horace reports to Alain Crozier, CVP, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft Greater China Region.

Since taking the role as COO in July 2017, Horace has led the China team to enhance Microsoft’s influence across the country, strengthening relationships with public-sector stakeholders, expanding local partnerships, and helping enterprise customers of all sizes across a range of different industries to achieve digital transformation. Under Horace’s leadership, Microsoft China was recognized as Microsoft’s Top Subsidiary globally in 2018. This distinction was granted for outstanding business performance, and for transforming Microsoft China into a leading Cloud and AI technology provider.

Prior to his role as COO, Horace served as general manager of Microsoft Hong Kong for five years, where he oversaw strategy, business operations and outreach for the company’s subsidiary in the region. Before joining Microsoft in 2012, Horace was vice-president and general manager of Database & Technology for SAP China. In that role, Horace was responsible for the overall strategic development of all SAP database offerings and for driving business performance in China.

Prior to SAP, Horace was the vice-president for Asia Pacific and general manager for North Asia region at Sybase, where he was responsible for financial performance and market leadership in the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea markets. Before Sybase, Horace was a manager in the IT Consulting Practice of KPMG Management Consulting.

Horace graduated with a degree in Computer Studies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.

As an ICT industry veteran, Mr. Qing Wei has been working in mobile communication, information technology and smart devices related business for over 25 years in Asia. His most recent role as National Technology Officer in Microsoft China allows him to evangelize Microsoft’s latest technology vision, innovation and digital transformation experiences and learning to broader ecosystem partners and industry influencers in China.
