Adeline Hsieh is a Principle Solution Specialist, IoT for Microsoft. In this role, Adeline helps Microsoft’s customers across ASIA to leverage the power of IoT to transform their businesses. Adeline began her career in Product Program at ASUStek and has led various projects and management role in Taiwan, across various of hardware devices from personal computing to networking devices.

Adeline also held a number of roles in Microsoft, including Senior account executives of OEM partners and IoT Solution specialist in Microsoft.

Adeline has BSs degree in Computing and Information system from Goldsmith College, University of London and MSc in Mangement of Information system from London School of Economics and Political Science.

I am the trusted technical advisor in the Microsoft Customer Success Unit for Azure Data Platform. My focus is big data, custom ML, AI, IoT, OSS, customer success and business strategy. Prior to joining Microsoft, I worked as a Data Specialist Consultant and successfully delivered projects for cross industries and companies in the US, Australia and New Zealand. I am also a regular speaker in various forums such as the Data Insight and Power BI User Group, Difinity, Global AI Nights, Azure Summit, SQL Saturdays, HINZ, and other Microsoft events.

Chris Dick is the CMO Lead for Microsoft New Zealand. With an extensive background in the technology and telecommunications sectors, he has been helping customers digitally transform using the Microsoft cloud for over two years. Prior to this he has led marketing and strategy teams in Australia and the UK, and worked with companies like EE and Telstra to build customer value through transformation.

Jenna Lee is Head of the APAC and Japan Internet of Things Solutions Technical Sales. In this role, Jenna works with the device partners to drive digital transformation and build intelligent solutions, from edge to cloud, which are secure IoT, Edge and AI solutions to accelerate partner solution deployment and go to market.

Jourdan is the CTO at Aware Group - a leading technology company focusing on AI, BI and IoT based in Hamilton, New Zealand.

He has extensive (10+ years) experience across multiple verticals in the technology industry. Through his efforts, Jourdan has been recognised with a number of prestigious awards and positions including Microsoft MVP in 2016-2018, and more recently awarded a place in the Microsoft Regional Director program in 2019.

Keon Lee is IoT Solution Architect in Microsoft. In this role working on the develop of IoT solution in Korea and Australia and the support Digital Transformation work in vertical industry. Previously, he was the National Technology Officer of Microsoft Korea.

Liam joined Microsoft as a Senior Technical Account Manager in 2016 after a long history of employment in the New Zealand Defence and Security sector and is also currently the New Zealand Services Cybersecurity Champion for Microsoft NZ. I spent 25 years as a commissioned officer in the New Zealand Army, managing various aspects of New Zealand Army IT. This included Commanding the Army Electronic Warfare Unit, Commanding the Unit responsible for deploying Army IT Systems on overseas operational deployments and holding the position of Chief Instructor of the Army IT Training School.

During my time in the Army I completed four tours of duty to Bosnia, East Timor, Sudan and Syria. After leaving the Army I spent several years at the New Zealand National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), leading the team responsible for liaising with National Critical Infrastructure Businesses and Organisations; working with these organisations to improve their Cyber Security awareness and maturity. As part of my work at the NCSC, I co-chaired the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Security Information Exchange Forum. I hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science, a Master of Science with Honours majoring in IT Management and a Master of Arts with Honours majoring in Defence and Strategic Studies. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping fit and am a keen martial artist (Judo) and mountain biker.

Pauline Hsiao is Azure Sphere Solution Specialist. Azure Sphere is Microsoft IoT team's new product portfolio to provide partners a highly secured MCU platform on IoT devices for end-to-end solutions. With more than 10 years experience in Microsoft on vertical industry, Pauline works with partners on IoT applications, and help partners to leverage Microsoft resources/programs for time to market to build a secure intelligent IoT world.

Peter is the Strategy Manager for Fonterra’s Automation and Operational Technology Team supporting global manufacturing. He has led the process to modernise the in-house process ‘Data Historian’, which collects time series data from manufacturing sites both in New Zealand and around the world. Peter drives the selection of new technologies and assist vendors in building a state-of-the-art solution to Fonterra’s process data needs.

Peter has been at Fonterra for 14 years and started his career there as the Maintenance Manager at their Takanini Plant and moved into the role of Fonterra Brands NZ (FBNZ) Group Automation and Electrical Manager, responsible for Electrical Standards and Safety as well as automation across all the FBNZ New Zealand Manufacturing sites, supporting automation upgrades and remediation of the systems in Fonterra’s Australian Operations.

Working as a technology strategist Richard has over a decade of experience across the mining, education, finance and construction industries. A current focus has been in helping organisations with their IoT and Advanced Analytics strategies. These engagements typically include considered approaches in implementing IoT, Data Lake, Data Science, DevOps and Microservices strategies in both IT and OT environments.

Preceding that Shirley held a variety of leadership positions with Fujitsu across geographies including the UK, Caribbean, and the Americas. Shirley Strachan is a passionate leader, a raving fan of technology, sales, business development, and strategy, who has also relished the opportunity to experience a multitude of cultures having lived and worked in numerous geographies during her career.

Steve Kim is in charge of legal, overseas marketing and business development. Steve oversees ulikeKorea’s globalization, overseas expansion and investment strategy. Steve has extensive business development experience here he served as a Director of International Arbitration Center (New York, USA) where he grew the team and the revenue by 3x. He also served as Korea/Asia country manager for one of the largest intellectual property management company in the world, heading up its sales, marketing and operation, growing the team by 5x and revenue from zero to multimillion USD. He is also a US trained attorney and has extensive experience in a wide range of legal sectors, including international arbitration, intellectual property, competition law, general corporate and commercial matters.

Steve has also advised numerous companies based in Korea and Asia on the issues of globalization, new market entry strategy and sales team management. During his tenure as a senior counsel at Samsung, he handled a number of high profile projects including technology licensing deals, joint ventures, and multi-billion USD antitrust investigation and litigation. Steve also consults for CMS, world’s 5th largest law firm, where he advises CMS on Korea growth strategy.

He graduated from University of California San Diego (UCSD) in 1994 and received his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law (New York) in 1997. Before joining ulikeKorea, he was the Korea/Asia country manager for CPA Global (2011-2015), senior counsel at Samsung Corning Precision Materials (2006-2011) and Director of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution arbitration at American Arbitration Association, New York (1998-2005). Steve is fluent in both English and Korean.

Tim has worked in IT for over 20 years across a variety of technical, project, analysis, support and sales orientated roles in both Australia and the UK. Working in small and large organisations has given him exposure to many complex and diverse infrastructures.

Over the past 7 years Tim has been an SME within the Mobile Device Management space and more recently part of a large retailers Disruptive Technologies Team as a technical architect and strategy resource.

While contributing to many different projects including ML, Image recognition and re-identification, his primary focus as technical lead was developing IOT strategies, leading IOT projects and POCs across retail, supply chain and services.

Tim has a real passion for technology innovation and its ever-increasing influence on industry and has created a number of successful thought leadership groups to collaborate and network.
